Live and work in a lighthouse setting, meet and greet tourists and guests while on duty.
Develop and present an interpretive program for visitors while assisting with special events.
Guide visitors to the attractions on site including: the mini-museum, gallery and light tower.
Track tourist data, enter into a daily log and chores.
Sell CLLS merchandise that is available to visitors,
Requirements - desire to use work time to further career goals, basic first aid and CPR, a driver's license is an asset.

Position – Lighthouse Navigator
Locations – Porphyry & Trowbridge Island Lighthouses
CLLS is excited to offer summer students who are returning to school in the fall a position as a Lighthouse Navigator.
Porphyry and Trowbridge Island Lighthouses are part of the Lighthouse Trail and will be home for the summer to the successful applicants.
The work offers an opportunity to discover a tourist attraction, connect with community and nature, while learning new skills.
Experience a “once in a lifetime experience” to connect with the world’s largest fresh water lake. Navigators are provided with room and board and transportation to the islands.
